Our Beyond 2020 capital campaign has finally arrived. Specifically, we are seeking to raise $4.425 million to become a multisite congregation so that we can reach our surrounding communities with the Gospel and become a debt-free church.
As you know, God is blessing our church in ways we never imagined. But there are so many more who need to come to know the Lord. We feel called to become a multisite congregation so that we can reach our surrounding communities with the Gospel. We believe the North Port area should be the site of our first regional campus. In addition to the costs to open a campus in North Port, our Peachland campus will need certain renovations so that it can become the main hub of a multisite church. These steps will give us the opportunity to grow in two different locations as we continue reaching people for Jesus.
Not only would we love to take these steps without incurring any additional debt, we also want to take a big bite out of the remaining 2.7-million-dollar debt on the Peachland campus. As I announced in 2014, our dream is to become a debt-free church. At the time we were a church of 800 people with a debt of 4.7 million dollars. In the last six years by God’s grace, we’ve reduced the debt by almost two million dollars! God has blessed us dramatically in the last six years because of the sacrifice hundreds of people made in 2014. The principal and interest on the remaining debt is $22,637.13 a month. Can you imagine the ministry that could be done if we wiped out that debt? Imagine having an additional $22,637.13 a month for the rest of our church’s existence to help open new campuses, hire necessary staff, begin outreach programs and minister to people in need. Generations of people could benefit because you and I were faithful stewards in the year 2020.
For these reasons we have launched the Beyond 2020 financial campaign. The success of this campaign depends on the entire church community getting involved in some way. It simply cannot happen on the efforts of just a few. I’m praying that you recognize God’s blessings in your life and respond to God’s goodness by making a sacrificial commitment to the campaign. Our vision is to serve the needs of our community both now and into the future. Your active involvement in this process will help us achieve that vision.
These are exciting times in our church, and I am confident that God will do great things during this campaign. He has blessed us greatly and this is an opportunity to give back. My prayer is that God’s Spirit will move mightily in the hearts of our people and we will have a successful effort.

A successful campaign requires a clear vision, the support and involvement of all members, and most importantly prayer and God’s guidance. Please pray daily for God to guide our hearts, for open doors for our multisite location, and for a triumphant campaign outcome.
On March 28 and 29, everyone in the church family will have the opportunity to make a commitment to the Beyond 2020 Campaign on this special weekend. It will be a wonderful time of prayer and celebration as we sacrifice together for God’s work.

WHY ARE WE HAVING A FINANCIAL CAMPAIGN?
Jesus commanded us, “Go into all the world and make disciples…” (Mt. 28:18). While God is blessing New Day in ways we never imagined, we are severely limited in what we can give to furthering the Kingdom because of our need for space and debt load on our current facility. As announced in the past, we feel called to become a multisite congregation so that we can reach our surrounding communities with the Gospel. We believe the North Port area should be the site of our first regional campus. In addition to the costs to open a campus in North Port, our Peachland campus will need certain renovations so that it can become the main hub of a multisite church. Not only would we love to take this growth step without incurring any additional debt, we also want to take a big bite out of the remaining $2.7 million debt on the Peachland campus. For these reasons we are launching a capital Campaign called “Beyond 2020”.
