Disaster Relief

Southwest Florida hurricane season runs from June 1st until November 30th every year.

In the event of a disaster, New Day Christian Church transforms into a *Special Needs Shelter (Oxygen-dependent) for Charlotte County Emergency Management and the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County.

During a time like this, New Day will continue to post updates to this webpage and to our social media pages regarding any impact this may have on church operations, events, and services.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” – Psalm 46:1

*Please note that the shelter is not intended for general population, please contact the Emergency Operations Center at 941-833-4000 for more information or if you have questions.
