ROGER RIVES

Roger and his wife of 51 years, Stephany, have been attending New Day since 2010. Roger graduated from Murray State University with a BA and from The University of Louisville with an MD. He is a past president of The Illinois Urologic Society.

Roger and Stephany have two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys studying the word of God, spending time with Stephany, fishing, and birdwatching.

Deacons:

Each New Day Elder is an overseer of specific worshippers and has Deacons that are available to help and walk alongside their flock. Elder Roger Rives and his Deacons Tom Black and Victor Costello oversee New Day members whose last names begin with CP through G.

1 Peter 5:2 says, “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers”.
