The churches in the Region of Galatia are being attacked by “False Teachers” whom we refer to as Judaizers. The Judaizers have been following behind Paul persuading the Galatian Christians in the belief that to receive salvation in Christ they must first commit to following the Mosaic Law. Paul spends the first two chapters of his letter to the Galatians defending the one true Gospel of grace through faith in the atoning work of Jesus, while also laying a defense for why his message is trustworthy.
