TOM THRASHER

Tom has been serving as an Elder of New Day since 2006. He is retired from a career in banking and real estate. He relocated to Florida from Indiana in the mid-seventies with his first wife and three children.

Tom attended Purdue University and Indiana University and is a graduate of the School of Bank Marketing. He has completed three marathons and is an avid tennis player.

Tom and his wife, Connie, have been married since 1988. They have two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Tom’s eldest son passed in 2008. He feels blessed to shepherd one of the flocks at NDCC.

DEACONS:

Each New Day Elder is an overseer of specific worshippers and has Deacons that are available to help and walk alongside their flock. Elder Tom Thrasher and his Deacons John Jacobsen, Kim Senger, and Vladislav Zinchenko oversee New Day members whose last names begin with SD through Z.

1 Peter 5:2 says, “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers”.
